Each planet has a default point that players will beam down to, but players will eventually have the ability to craft an object to relocate their spawn point on the planet like a flag or another teleporter.Īs of Spirited Giraffe, a small animation plays during a teleport after the initial beam up/down and lasts until arrival at the destination. If you have already gotten a mech from the Mech Workshop in the Outpost, their will be a "Deploy Mech" button above the Beam Button. On planets, this button has an arrow pointing up, and on ships, the arrow is pointing down. Players can activate beam transport by clicking the 'Beam Button' in the UI. Now you can beam down anyway, but if you do not have the correct EPP, you will be damaged in whatever fashion that planet would normally damage you in. On the ship, there is a teleportation pad that allows the player to beam down in a mech, or without one, to the surface of the planet/spacial object they are orbiting.Ĭertain planets used to require special gear players would be unable to beam to these planets unless they met the requirements of wearing the correct EPP. That has now been fixed, and the player can beam up from anywhere. Enraged Koala, beaming was confined to the surface of planets, so players underground would have to journey back to the surface before returning to a ship.
Players are able to beam to other players ships, as well as their own. Beaming is the method of transporting oneself between planets and ships.
